The principals at Pharmatrope bring to the project extensive experience in drug discovery, cheminformatics, and enterprise-level scientific software development.
Pharmatrope itself is a commercial software and services company specializing in modelling drug efficacy and toxicity. Pharmatrope has published the first QSAR models for toxicity based on human adverse events data. These models provide high reliability and at the same time link chemical structure to toxicity in a way that is directly interpretable.
Our primary responsibilities on the project are based on our extensive past experience building and managing enterprise cheminformatics systems as described below. Pharmatrope is located in Philadelphia, PA on the western edge of the New Jersey hub for the US pharmaceutical industry and centrally located along the Atlantic biotechnology corridor.
